Located in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, I am a small hobby breeder and exhibitor, who is constantly researching and learning about the Cane Corso and dogs in general.  The reason for this is simple...I hold myself to a higher standard.  I strive for excellent health, stable temperaments while doing my best to achieve the breed standard of the Cane Corso.

My experience with the Cane Corso began over 9 years ago, after much research, visiting breeders, attending local rare breed dogs show; I met my first Cane Corso...Sapphire.  There was something about this amazing breed that clearly fit my life and personality.  Ans do my journey began...

Some days, I am also lucky enough to work from home with the dogs.  I am a Certified Public Accountant and work full-time for a public accounting firm.  I also hold a real estate license (the family business) and dabble here and there with real estate.

Breeding is not my business but, my passion.  I want future owners to fall in love with this breed, as I have.  It makes me smile, when I hear my puppy families passing on accurate and honest knowledge to others about the Cane Corso or dogs in general.  I am not a breeder to sell you a puppy or a dog rather, I am a fancier who wants to better the breed in health, character and appearance.

In addition, I am a former member and the former treasurer for the Cane Corso Association of America (parent club for the AKC), the former treasurer of the USCCS (no longer in existence) and I have extensively participated in volunteering with Cane Corso Rescue.

My participation with Cane Corso Rescue included fostering, arranging and performing transportation to and from shelters and permanent homes, re-homing various Cane Corso in need, reviewing applications and spearheading various fund-raising events.

My dogs are my family, my children and my pets.  They receive nothing less than my personal attention daily.  The dogs and I are currently working on a variety of tasks from obedience, agility to conformation.   All the dogs go for car rides, enjoy trips to local parks, visit local pet stores, visit family and much more.

Just as my Cane Corso is my family, we want to ensure that each and every dog I raise is provided with a good, loving and stable home.  Through my dealings with rescue and rescue dogs, I firmly believe each and every breeder should be responsible for each and every puppy they produce.   It is the policy of PrideNJoyz Cane Corso to abide by those beliefs.  I have had the pleasure of visiting and spending time with other Cane Corso breeders from countries such as Italy, Hungary, Croatia and many other countries over the years
, which has greatly improved my knowledge and love for the breed.

What sets me apart from other breeders is that I am a "doer" and not "speaker" or "benchwarmer".  My dogs are tested in temperament, obedience, conformation, coursing, herding and various other aspects.  I am actively involved in these activities with our dogs and our puppy families.  I believe a breeder should mentor/teach by example rather than a "do as I say" method.  I encourage each of our puppy families to attend activities and if possible, I join them.  I know that our success depends more on my actions than on yours. I am proud that my Cane Corso are well-rounded and versatile, as I do not feel this breed was meant to be solely a show dog.  I believe this breed should keep its guardian instincts, working ability and presence and that potential owners should understand the commitment it takes to own a Cane Corso prior to opening your heart and home to one.

At PrideNJoyz Cane Corso, we know our results speak for themselves.

We are proud to announce some fantastic advancements at PrideNJoyz...
Over the years, we have been researching, reading and discussing various way to improve our program.  We have added three important benefits to our program over the last few years:  Puppy Culture, Natural Rearing/Raw Feeding and Testimonials.

Puppy Culture is a program used by breeders and puppy owners all over the world to improve the lives of their puppies and to limit behavioural issues by helping puppies to cope with and move past things that would otherwise cause issues as adults. We believe Puppy Culture is a valuable resource for caring and ethical breeders, along with new and old puppy owners, rescues, and is a fantastic add-on to attending a good puppy preschool. With just a few minutes each day it dramatically makes a difference!

Natural Rearing is raising our dogs and puppies on a species appropriate diet (raw food), raising them with little to no vaccinations and supporting their natural immune system.  Natural rearing is more like a preventative whereby it raises your dog's overall health and maintains a strong immune system which minimizes the need for veterinary assistance.
